Bio: Dr. Amanda Muelenberg, MD-OBGYN

Obstetrician-Gynecologist

Dr. Amanda Meulenberg is an obstetrician-gynecologist in Connecticut. She has a long history of commitment to the underserved and healing others, for which Sensualfusion.com is grateful to have her medical expertise on board its advisory panel.

A Michigan native, she attended Michigan State University where she was very active in many extracurricular activities and graduated with Honors. Prior to medical school, Dr. Meulenberg, the granddaughter of Dutch immigrants, was an Americorps volunteer at Project Hospitality in Staten Island, New York. The position entailed being the coordinator of both the soup kitchen and the food pantry, volunteer supervisor, and numerous education and community outreach responsibilities.

While attending medical school at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, she served on the Board of Trustees of the American Medical Student Association (AMSA), first as a Regional Trustee and then as the 2004-2005 National Vice President. AMSA is a 50,000 member organization that brings national attention to the problems of the medically underserved and inequalities in the healthcare system.
